Granular Application
Fully CAA authorised · Nationally operated · Locally delivered
Our drone spreading and seeding service brings variable-rate, GPS-guided granular application to farms where conventional spreaders can’t reach — or where precision simply isn’t available at scale. From cover crop seeding to late-stage nitrogen, our locally based operators deliver accurately and quickly, under SAS Agri Drones’ national CAA authorisation.
Why Choose Drone & Seeding
Prescription maps from your agronomist can be uploaded directly to the drone for true variable-rate application.
Establish cover crops, companion crops or direct overseeds rapidly — even into standing crops after harvest.
Wet fields, steep banks, headlands and areas prone to compaction are all accessible by drone.
Our equipment handles small seeds such as clover, phacelia and grass with high accuracy and even distribution.
Full GPS-logged spreading maps provided after every job — ideal for farm assurance and stewardship records.
Competitive rates make drone spreading a practical option for farms without specialist spreading equipment.

Questions
Our drones can apply from as low as 2 kg/ha for small seeds up to 150 kg/ha for heavier granular products. We'll confirm the appropriate drone and hopper configuration for your material.
Yes. We accept prescription maps in standard formats (shapefiles, KML, GeoJSON) and can upload these directly to the drone management system for variable-rate application.
Our GPS-guided drones spread to within centimetre-level accuracy with typical swath widths of 5–7 metres, minimising gaps and overlaps.
One of our customers achieved exactly that for cover crop seeding. Output depends on product, application rate and field conditions — we'll give you an honest estimate.
